You may not like it, but this is what the essence of competitive gaming looks like. Rock-paper-scissors interactions with tactics and mindgames, pure of advantages as both players are completely mirrored in their potential.

!!!MULTIPLAYER ONLY!!! and there is no matchmaking, so you will have to find someone to play with and host lobbies yourself, I suggest using a LAN-emulator like Hamachi or RadminVPN.

Features:

• Simultaneous-turn tic-tac-toe, both players take turns at the same time.
• Place either offenseor defense tokens on the board - attack to claim a tile as you would in tic-tac-toe, block to prevent your opponent from doing so!
• Both players attacked the same tile? Well, nothing changed. And when nothing changes, the timer speeds up.
• Combine multiple tokens on the same tile into different moves. Offense and defense form a "parry" that beats attacks, but still cant penetrate block. Two attacks form a "crush" that beats block and parry, but loses to the simple attack.
• Settings for changing the board's size, amount of tokens, turn timer or win conditions.

Planned Features:

• Arcade mode in the style of "Footsies", where AI opponents are fought in sequence, each with a distinct playstyle.
• A tutorial to go over the game's mechanics.
• If I manage to release it on Steam - a proper server list, maybe even a matchmaking system.
